Categories vs Tags

While searching for more plug-ins and I have come across the Ultimate Tag Warrior. I found it to be a very excellent plugin, and I immediately installed it along with the Ultimate Tag Warrior widget to have a tag cloud in the sidebar.

I initially found the use of tags to be more flexible and efficient when categorizing posts. But I realized you can also use multiple categories per post. And with tags I would have to maintain both Categories and Tags. Being a huge fan of the K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stup1d!) principle, I went back to using Categories again.
